I just bought this on craigslist a few hours ago. Like usual, I know I spent to much, but it runs good. The lever for the 3speed is broken, it need to be painted, it has a broken air filter cover, the bracket that holds the fuel tank on is broken, as well as a few other things. Hopefully I will be able to pick up a parts mower, but the add was kind of old, so I don't know. Anyways, I had a few questions regarding the oil. Does anyone know how to drain the oil, what type of oil it uses and how much? That would help a lot, Thanks. And this is the 4 cycle by the way.

two ways under the deck by the blade there will be a drain plug or drain out the fill tube by turning it on its side

I thought about buying one of those, I see them every once in awhile on CL in my area, but I didn't know if the 4 stroke engines were any good. I know every one raves about the 2 strokes.

I hope the 4 cycle engine is good, but thanks, I bought some 10w30 oil today and can hopefully get the oil changed soon.

Okay, I got the oil changed and the blade sharpened and it cuts fairly well. I am just wondering, though, do you think it would be better for me to sell this and try and make a small profit to put towards a newer Super Recycler, or just fix this one up and use it?
