My Aunt's Toro Recycler (20339) is sitting uneven on flat ground (checked on several different concrete slabs) even though all wheels are set to same height. It wobbles about a 1/2 inch. This wobble not only obviously makes it terrible to use but also results in an uneven cut.
- I thought no biggie, one of the wheel height adjustment mechanisms must be loose/damaged/bent or otherwise needs replaced. So I took each wheel off to check them, but this is not the case. All the wheel height mechanisms are absolutely fine.
- All the wheels sit straight (none are crooked or loose).
- The front drive axle isn't bent (but I already knew that because if it was the front wheels would not roll smoothly, but they do).
The only way to eliminate wobble is to adjust the height of either the front right wheel or left back wheel up one full notch, however this means the deck is uneven therefore you get an uneven cut (though it's not too too badly uneven a cut - but it bugs me lol).
I'm baffled. My conclusion is that the deck must've somehow got bent, but I have no idea how that could be (I'm the only one that uses this mower and it is never even transported so it wasn't dropped). There is no evidence on the deck that I can see that points to a bend, but it's the only explanation at this point.
I'm all out of troubleshooting ideas. Am I missing something else to troubleshoot?
NOTE: The image below is actually not my Aunt's mower, it is a pic from Reddit. I don't have time right now to go get a pic of my aunt's mower, but it depicts the exact same problem with her mower. I actually contacted that guy on Reddit and unfortunately he never found the issue and has since replaced the mower. It is literally the only page on the internet I can find that addresses this exact issue I'm having.
