I have a TORO 6.5 rear wheel drive that needed cleaning, so I took off the rear wheels to clean out all the thatch packed there, replaced the wheels and now it acts like the gears are stripped. What did I screw up please ?

that is what it sounds like the small gear is backwards.

did you pull off more than the wheels?
