Hi,

Long time browser, first time poster. I finally have a yard of my own and a need to get some new equipment. I've got around $400 to spend and I believe I've settled on these two self-propellers. I have a flat yard and Zoisiagrass. I've got enough energy and strength to easily handle my quarter-acre.

I'm interested primarily in the long term investment. Long life with low and easy maintenance. Thoughts?

Both are good options and engines. I have the 190cc B&S now, different make mower, it's going strong on year 5 and starts on the first pull. Both of these engines have a tune-up kit that's is easy to do. I would probably take the Honda though spending that amount of money.

That's good to hear. Out of curiosity, why would you go for the Honda?
