I am replacing the "Gear-bevel, 42T" and the "collar-clutch" in the above transmission. I noticed excessive side to side movement in the "Shaft-drive". Where can I find out what the tolerance is supposed to be on this shafts side to side play. I haven't checked anywhere else yet, so if I find out something,I'll post it here.
I just replaced the transmission model 618-04034. It had made a lot of noise and would not move forward.When I removed it the axle on the right side had so much play it almost came out of the housing. I bought the transmission on Ebay for about $300.00
