I have a Toro 6.5hp front drive 22" recycler mower with a Briggs & Stratton motor that wont start. I have checked/cleaned the carburetor, I have checked/gapped the coil to the fly wheel, checked/confirmed there is spark, checked/confirmed the flywheel pin is not broken. When I pull the pull cord there is the normal resistance that you would get when pulling over a mower but I can here the blade continue to spin for quite a few revolutions vs the normal 4-6 that you would get on a failed pull start after pulling the cord all the way. If I turn the motor by hand via the flywheel it doesn't spin freely as if there is no compression but either way I am unsure of what to do next. I was going to pick up some quick start fluid and spray it in the port where the spark plug threads in and re thread the plug back in and see if it turns over to see if it's possible it's not getting fuel but I'm not sure if I should even bother. I'm hoping someone here can help me out, thanks.
