Toro MX5025 TimeCutter:
Hi, a stick threw Drive belt off. Went to put it back on and noticed Flat Idler Pulley looked “melted” where belt lays on it. Installed new Drive belt and New Pulley. Started engine and same thing happened to new Pulley and now hearing a loud “squeaking” noise.
Any thoughts? Thanks in advance!

When install the pulley did you make sure it spun freely?

Hmmm. That is strange as something has to be causing it to bind for not to turn.

You were right! I checked the pulley and it wasn’t turning. Thank you so much!!!?
