When I first try to start mower -- it will start, run a few seconds, then stop. This is repeated several times but each time stays running longer and eventually runs fine. Problem is worse if air temperature is lower. If there was a choke button or something like that, seems problem would be gone as engine needs to warm up before it will run properly--however, this mower has no choke adjustment. How can I fix this? Thanks!

Change the thermostat. Make sure that the butterfly(closest to air filter) is closed when cold starting and open when engine is warmed up.
