I replaced the upper handle support and to do this you have to take the handle assembly completely apart. When I reattached the handle to the mower deck the threads had striped out. I noticed they used some kind of Loctite on these two screws to keep them in. The screws look OK but the deck is made out of aluminum. Will drilling and tapping to the next size work? By doing this I am going to have a hard time finding a screw that has a larger area towards the head for the handle to move. Any suggestions on this repair? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.
