I have this old Toro 20074 lawn mover (Engine:Tecumseh/LV195EA). I just replaced carbureter (bought parts frm Amazon and followed YouTube tutorials). But it still does not start. I also replaced new spark plug with new fuel, no help. Before changing the carbureter I was able to start it with few attemps.
What might be wrong here? I would like to try DIY before taking to small engine shop.
Once again I will repeat, BUYING CARBS AND COILS OFF AUTOSCAM IS A CRAP SHOOT. The techs on this forum have found through experience that trying to save a buck is not worth it. I suspect that either the main nozzle is partially clogged or the float level is not set correctly. This manual has instructions on cleaning nozzles and setting float height. https://www.mymowerparts.com/pdf/Te...P-4-CYCLE-L-HEAD-FLAT-HEAD-ENGINES-692509.pdf
