Too much compression?

I am working on a Husqvarna TB230 self-propelled mower model 12AVB2A3766. It has a B&S motor model 104M020004F1 with alot of compression: 150psi. That's great for combustion, and she runs good when you get it going. However, the pull is ALOT. The customer is struggling to start it. I can, but agree it's a hard pull (at the top of the stroke). SO, is this normal? Should this unit have a compression relief?

Looks like compression release on camshaft https://www.partstree.com/parts/briggs-stratton-594090/ But I would make sure the valves are properly adjusted first. .004-.008 on both valves.

If all is in spec, look in spark plug hole to see if there is a load of carbon built up. That will increase compression ..
