Question: Do you use water to clean machine after mowing?
If you are hosing machine down after mowing that's your problem, use leaf blower. Also hands on inspect all wiring and connections for corrosion, loose connections, bare wires, wires hanging loose, use tie straps, & check all ground cables and straps making sure they're tight and secure.
