Bought a non-working mower on Craigslist to fix up. On Toro model 20070, on the throttle arm, anyone know how I can determine which hole the throttle linkage goes into? Would be nice if the person who removed it would have marked the hole before hand.

Need to know what engine you have. Also are you trying to look the linkage onto the throttle plate or onto the governor arm?

Engine is tecumseh LV195EA. Check attached pics. I know it goes in the top hole of the governor lever, the bottom hole on the governor lever is for the linkage with the spring. Is the plate on the top of the carb I'm not sure of.

Goes in the right side hole of the throttle lever as you look at the picture you sent. This should be closest to the engine block when you assemble it. When you push the governor arm forward the throttle plate should open.
