throttle issues

I have a cub cadet 1050LT and when I start it revs real fast can control it with the PTO but not the throttle switch? How can I fix this

Sounds like your Governor is out of adjustment or something stuck in the throttle linkage.

Sometimes the throttle cable will come out of the throttle bracket behind the dash.
