Somehow, this species got into the new fresh Rye-Blue sod This pretensis has a tubular stem, then has horizontal blades arising from the stem. It looks like Poe Annua or Annual Bluegrass. Here are pictures of the end of the fresh sod roll, a specimen pulled from the sod, and a view from the top of the sod showing horizontal and vertical blades.
I enjoy only vertical blades.
What do you think? Would you enjoy this in your lawn?
Below are pictures of the end of the sod roll, a piece removed from the sod, and a view of the sod showing the blade orientations.

call the people who provided you the sod to see if they have any suggestions. If some Canadian goose flew over it and took a dump from 4,000', they will have the same issue from more than one person.
