I have an 2005 X595 with a 62 inch midmower "cutting edge" deck and a 46 snow thrower. The tractor has 485 hours on it. No problems. But I am getting much older and the change out of the mower deck and snow thrower with change over of turf tires to bar tires with weights gets a little harder each year. I think the drive over deck might be a better solution. How does the x595 compare with the 1026R? Reliability? Ease of use?

I considered the new 1000 series but wound up with the x749 instead, I think it has a better cut and I prefer toe 0 to 8.5 mph single speed tranny. I also feel the hydraulic fwd is better in turns than the mfwd on a lawn tractor. My 4520 and 110tlb both have the mfwd and although they get around very well they can scuff the grass when 4x4 is engaged.

I think I would keep the x595 and put the hdap tires on it, these seem to work well for everything I do. That includes pulling a 4' landplane grader.

Wow, what a rig..:licking: You sure got some nice looking tractors...
I see you have a bigger one also; I have never seen a landplane grader.
What exactly do you do with this thing?
