I am trying to restore my burns B-60 and I've bought 2 different 8 hp briggs, neither of which were good. The one has a warped block around the vavle seat, and the other has a horribly scored cylinder wall and crank. Neither engine is good. Just my luck...

The first, I might be able to understand, but not the second. Once bitten, twice shy.

What assurances did you get from the sellers that these engines were good?
