Hello,

Thanks to the existing posts here, I was able to diagnose and replace a bad ignition coil on my Briggs 92902 engine. I first disconnected all kill wires, cleaned off the corrosion, and gapped the old coil to .010" - no spark with a known-good spark plug and tester.
I installed a new coil - worked right away. Now to clean out the carburetor...it's a 1985 Snapper mower that's probably never been cleaned before, based on what I've seen so far.

Thanks for showing, acting, and telling how people are helped on this forum. I enjoy helping people that are open to being helped. Many people have little to no desire to work on equipment or think they know better,
