Hey guys does anyone know how to properly clean (if it's possible) a Tecumseh carburetor with a plastic bowl? Or what parts are a must when rebuilding/cleaning.

Well I'm just curious in general. I worked at a local mower shop and they wouldn't let anyone clean the plastic bowls out just replace and clean the carburetor.

Even though Tecumseh offered parts for the plastic bowl carbs, they were never really meant to be cleaned, just replaced as a unit. All of the jets, and other critical parts are in the bowl, and was designed as a drop and replace bowl system, without removing the aluminum part of the carb from the engine.
