Hello..

I have two tecumseh motors that I am having similar issues with. First is a 6.75 hp with a brand new carb and intake gaskets. It starts with one pull but spits every now and again while running max RPMs. I have them set at 3400. New intake gaskets. New fuel. Crank shear pin is ok. Magneto is clean and gapped accordingly. New plug.

Second motor is a 5.5 hp Tecumseh that I took the old carb apart and cleaned out everything. It had old fuel in it. Carb flowed carb cleaner.

Thoughts? I hate tecumseh motors! lol

i use high test gas & a quality brand of fuel treatment per instructions on bottle when mixing in gas can. air filters ok?
