I just rebuilt the carburetor, cleaned air filter, changed spark plug, and now the mower is using a lot of gas. Anyone have any ideas why it would be using more gas now than it did before I did all of this to it. Also,it seems to be running at a lot higher RPM's than it was before these things were done. Any and all ideas would be greatly appreciated!

I would think you got the Governor link not in the correct whole. Number 186 is the governor link.

I can't seem to find 186 on the schematic. I think it's a governor problem too,but I think I've got everything hooked up right on the governor. Thank You,for you input!

Hopefully you have found and solved the issue by now, but 186 is located just above the muffler in the schematic. Something I learned is to press and hold the Ctrl key on your keyboard as you press the + key, this will allow you to zoom in on the attachments to see them easier. I have to do this a lot as my eyes are not what they were years ago.
