I have an H30 Tecumseh 35387T on a Troy Bilt tiller. Do you really need to put sealer on new gaskets? In particular the gasket from the intake to the head. In the past I haven't an I have had no problems. Just wanting opinions.

Simple answer no, Tecumseh does not require any sealer on any of their gaskets.

Using sealant on gaskets that don't require it can lead to premature failure in some cases.
