Want to replace the bowl assembly on my snowblower.

Here's the engine.
Model No. OH318EA-222712 11 HP
Uses short block 756346

The standard series 7 bowl assembly is avail with two main jets depending one the following chart


Despite finding three separate webpages explaining Tecumseh engine identification I tried and failed to correspond my engine's model number to 110-135 or 140-175.

According to the Tecumseh Quick Reference Guide, the float bowl kit for a OH318 is part number #730649.

has suggested a few links that indicate that the XXXX39 is appropriate.

Google and Ebay list variations XXXX38/39/49, but no 48.

Since tecumseh went out of business, who can I check with by phone or email to get the definitive answer on this?

Now you are putting two people who are trying to help at odds with each other. I saw you post on another site under a different name. The only way you are going to be satisfied with an answer is to take the carb and numbers to a reputable repair shop and have them order you the correct part. I'm not going to say which of us is correct with our numbers, there have been updates on that float bowl system and and only with the parts in hand can I be 100% sure. Starting to think this is a test to see which poster can come up with the answer you want to hear. Good Luck, my last post on this thread.

I'm not one who buys the adage that free advice is worth what you pay for it. I try to contribute as much as I receive. Why else are we here? Such forums are tremendous value to people who share freely, and share free from such accusatory drivel as you've offered up.
