Where can I get a set of Stnd Tecumseh Rings, Part number 36315 ?

i would think any small engine parts store should be able to

I tried the parts store and the rings are discontinued. I tried ebay and tewarehouse.com along with a few other sites to no prevail.

I may have trouble locating these rings so I am referring to you guys for someone that may know of who has obsolete parts / discontinued Tecumseh parts.

Are you absolutely positive on that part number? I ask because just before Tecumseh went out of business, they, for some reason, superceded a lot of their part numbers. What is the model of your engine? I hope it is not on a Craftsman, because Craftsman uses their own engine numbers and I lost my Tecumseh to Sears cross reference.

If memory serves me correctly, the Craftsman engine numbers all started with "143"

I called Stroller Lawn and Garden and they are asking 52.66 for a set of rings that have to be ordered and this does not include tax and shipping.

Kinda expensive but I may have no choice. I was hoping that I could get them a bit cheaper.

Any suggestions ?
