TB516EC edger clutch

troybilt TB516EC edger clutch does not release every time you let off gas. Cannot see how to get to clutch/belt area to take a look.

Hate to say this but you got a lot of disassembly work ahead of you as first edger blade area has to be removed and the engine. just to get to the clutch assy. And you will probably need a T-20 reduced shank torx bit to get the clutch drum off.
