I have a DR Trimmer Mower that is about 5 years old. It has worked fine for me, though I had to take it to the dealer for a new carburetor, due to my having left gas in it during the off season (more than one!). All good, but then - my grandson was trying to remove the mow ball support, and rather than using a strong screwdriver to lock the head, he used a thin rod, and it snapped off. Now half of it is inside the hole in the frame. I've seen some comments elsewhere about people taking their DR Trimmers apart, have any of you done that? My other son is a good mechanic and could do this I think with some instruction or diagram, but I've not been able to find anything online. I really can't afford to take it back to the dealer again. Hope someone can help!
