Okay it my turn to ask for help. I got a 2008 Kohler SV600-0028 that I am needing pns for. No one seems to acknowledge that this engine has a Walbro carburetor which I need a fuel solenoid for. Even Kohler new dealer website only show a Nikki carburetor. I know personally this Walbro is original to the engine. Also Kohler is not showing a PN for the intake insert. So does anyone happen to have pns?

Found a number for the insert 20 322 01-s And the solenoid should be part number 25 757 25-s from Jacks small engine using spec number 0214 for the insert and 0006 for the walbro carb number 20 853 33-s See if that helps

Tnx.
I personally don't like the new Kohler's Partners website; Kohler Plus was a lot better. Just way too many problems looking up older engines. Several engines lately have not even been on that system. That is when I get the site to pull up on my screen but of course there is lots problems related to the Europe area currently.
I have both those parts in stock. I am surprised at the cost of the carburetor you listed as Kohler is usually very high. Not going to complain about the $xxx cost. While searching in my parts bin I found the solenoid 12 757 33-S in there too. This is the same solenoid in the 25 757 25-S kit but it cost nearly twice as much. I will put an alternate cross on my system as it is cheaper to order the 25-S kit and toss the heat shield parts when using on a Command engine. And considering the setup of this equipment the heat shield is not needed here either.
I also thought that doing an eviction was necessary. No wonder the engine quit running. It simply couldn't breathe.
Good thing it wouldn't run. Surprise no chewed wires.

Looks like. you got lucky with the rodent infestation. I haven't done on the solenoids lately, but I now remember that the heat shield kit version was always like half the cost of the solenoid by itself. The bad thing about the new site is like you said missing engines, and that may lead to the older engines being removed from the partsmart EDI systems. I got the insert and carb part number for the 0214 from Jacks, but they didn't show the solenoid part number. Partners didn't show either part being used on the 0214. Had to go to the 0006 to get the part number of the solenoid for the 33-s carb.

Actually the customer got very lucky.
And it is getting worst as other OEMs are pulling the same tricks of missing equipment info. Like the Kawasaki engine I recently repaired which Kawasaki had no info on that spec. I had to do the same thing of look at different specs to find the parts used. I ended with two different float valves as the only engine recommend me to use had the wrong needle listed.
If we can't trust our dealer support sites then all bets are off if we can get things repaired. So glad I looking forward to not doing this full time in a few years. Plus this year has started off bad with nearly every repair job turning into a nightmare. ARRrggg. Now a new cable is ordered and the customer is getting another bill for having to take it apart for the third time. Totally unnecessary if only the customer was straight with me from the start.
IF it wasn't for the internet and the search skills I have developed I would be in serious trouble at times.

I know the feeling about looking up parts for somethings. I have worked with a couple companies that I swear bleach bit their parts diagrams for stuff they no longer make. To the point that if you do a search by model number you will not get a single hit.
And I am in the same boat with if I didn't have disaster projects to work on I would be out of work. So far this year I have a Polaris with the blown engine for complete rebuild, a stripped oil drain plug on a Yamaha Rhino that required a thread insert repair kit, a Cub Cadet Tank that has been setting and partially disassembled with parts missing, and just Friday was a Briggs 31 series that somebody had cross threaded the spark plug and took out most of the threads.
