Just got this old Suffolk punch 35s lawnmower that I'm doing a restore on to sell on . The engine runs so started to strip it for paint

Hello, i would say looking at the condition of the mower that you should stop with the renovation and find a better one as there are lots better out there , maybe remove engine and fit to another with engine problems. Gary

Well my time is free and the mower owes me nothing at all and one the same recently sold for £138 so with the only cost to me being paint ect there is a good profit . Just need to buy a throttle lever. Made a start on it today
All taken down to bare metal . The engine is good so that needs no work apart from a clean up and service

I've also got a Suffolk super colt 12" but that is very rusty but it's came in handy for a couple of parts
This is a pic of the one I'm restoring when it was compleat

Basically I won all these mowers in the pic for £30 on ebay . The yellow one just needed fuel and sold that for £45 and I've kept the red one for myself and the Suffolk super punch 17" dual drive I just gave a light restore and again sold on

I've done a few of them up in my time got two engines in the shed and one working mower, good little mowers to work on, you don't say where you are from, but if you are working on a Suffolk am sure you are in the UK somewhere.
