I have a statesman 16.5 riding mower 16 hp 42 in cut will start but have to keep choke all way out and when engage blades had to be in 2 or 1 gear keeps bogging out on me if blades not engaged runs fine,
nothing binding up, cleaned out air filter, fuel filter..had little dirt in it, adjusted air fuel adjust screw cleaned off deck and under deck cant figure out why wont stay running to cut grass...grass not very some what thick in spots but mower cut fine when alot worse than for this 1st cut. Ideals fine as long as choke all way out.:confused2:
