I have a 144Z with new(2yrs old)motor which is 25H FH7-21V old one was the 19H I believe.I have a 144Z with new(2yrs old)motor which is 25H FH7-21V old one was the 19H I believe.The bar that holds the clutch in place vibrated off in return allowed my clutch to spin completely around,ripping the wires out(this clutch does not have a pigtail harness that clips in)so now I need to replace the clutch but it will NOT budge I have the bolt and the lower half of the clutch/pulley off and have put nearly a whole can of the good ol WD40 and some blaster letting it sit over night! Still Nothing.Anyone know anything or have any tips or tricks, little or big ANYTHING will help at this point.A new clutch will cost 390 I really dont want to have to pay the 67$an hour mechanic at gravely Thank you in advance.
If you have access to an air compressor and an air hammer, That is how we do it here. First you need to put a sacrifical bolt in the crank end, and while pulling/prying the clutch off, you in turn apply the air hammer to the bolt that is on the end of the crank.
