Get a tap and die set and rethread the block and replace the bolt is about all you can do.
No, all the original bolts came out clean and intact. So I'm puzzled as to how an aluminum or even an aluminum alloy could strip the end of a steel bolt. Seems like it would be the other way around.It should have a clear threaded path. Did a bolt possibly break off in there. As far as I know it is just threaded aluminum and no insert.
