I have a old Homelite SX-135 string trimmer that starts fine and idles fine. It starts running ok at high speeds, but then it will slow down to idle for a couple of seconds and then goes back to high speed. Then after you make a couple of swipes it slows down again. If I tip it sideways with the fuel lines toward the bottom it stays running fine, but you can't trim that way. It has new gas in it and I changed the plug, and the filter is clean. Could the fuel line be partially pluged? Any ideas of what I should check next?
Thanks, Don

I might try and replace the fuel lines. Sounds like you might have a crack or pin hole in it somewhere
