Hello,

Not sure if this is the best place to ask this but I couldn't find anywhere more appropriate.
I recently bought a Black and Decker strimmer (GL7033-GB).
I've noticed it makes a rattling, clicking sound when the motor spins down. Is this typical? I wanted to get some opinions before I go back to the seller and have them tell me "it's fine, strimmers are just noisy".

Video with sound here:

Thanks,
Dave

The electric motor sounds good under load.

What I think you're hearing is the cable inside the shaft as it slows down, and that's normal on curved shafts.

A tech would charge you to open it up and check the upper bearing and bottom head connections. Save your money imo.

If the shaft is easily removable go ahead and remove it to see if the sounds disapears.
