I have just bought a MS261 it came with 20” bar and the green chain. What yellow chain will it take to go to a 16” bar. The guys at ACE Hardware sold me the wrong one.
Thanks. I never knew the world of chainsaw chains was so deep!
Well my Stihl chart is a little too old the cover the .325 .050 67 DL chain but the Oregon chain is 20LPX067G for professional non safety chain.

The green/yellow designation refers to the safety features, not the chisel shape.
They recently switched their stock bar/chain to a cheapo .050 ga. bar, so they may have not gotten a lot of .325 .050 chain loops yet.

So they classing semi chisel as a safety feature. I thought it most the rakers and bumper link shapes. Still like the full chisel over the semi chisel. But I like the ramp bumper links for plunge cuts.

No, I used to sell the non-safety semi-chisel, it had the yellow color code. I preferred the semi chisel myself, it stayed sharp longer.
