I know who makes it I work at a Stihl dealer and we carry the mowers. Just wondering what others thought of it if they owned one.

Both of the local JD/Stihl dealers carry Ferris and not the Stihl mowers.

The zero turn market is highly competitive and saturated. Stihl is obviously banking on their brand name to sell these mowers. I believe it is a good looking mower, however, they are expensive and are very late to be introduced to the market. Time will tell. Yes, they are built on the Ferris platform.

Well, Stihl had Zenoah originally made their trimmers\blowers\etc to test the waters before making more than just chainsaws.

I am not endorsing Stihl, just saying.

I have an RM 665 V. It's sturdy and reliable. Very heavy!

IF that is the case that explain the high US because of the stupid tariffs.

Not impressed with the low-end mowers the commercial mowers are much better units. Not familiar with the walk behind mowers

No no no, we are all getting rich now because of the tariffs. I know you just bought half of the State of California with your check LOL. :p

I found one on FB marketplace that was brand new, had not even had oil or gas in it. Lady paid nearly $1100 at Ace Hardware, got it home and realized it was too heavy to lift out of her jeep, which was important since she needed to transport the mower to different locations on her property. Long story short, I got it for $430. It's a great mower, but I'm sure glad it's self-propelled.
