Customer had a few older stihl products sitting in shed. Said go ahead and tinker as i havent started them in years.
straight trimmer(fs-90r
chainsaw(ms251)
Blower(br450c)
Chainsaw and trimmer only needed a clean ou with new plug/fuel and chain for the saw.
The blower had mudwasp buildup in muffler assembly bolts and the ignition wire to spark plug was eaten off.
I replaced muffler assembly with new gasket
I replaced ignition coil assembly as well as new plug and fresh fuel
I didnt expect the built in auto start system to work with the unit sitting for about 5 years now
I tried pull starting and all i get is a whiney sound coming from module area. Is it even worth tinkering more if the CU is faulty?
Thanks
