I put a new carb on, removed the spark arrestor, and replaced the fuel line. I also put the low and high screws all the way in and then backed them out 1 1/4 turns each and tried to tune from there. no difference. Any suggestions would be appreciated, thank you.

Kind of hard to diagnose this but have you found the low speed throttle adjustment on the new carb? Get the speed up then play with the LS jet some.

Yes I actually was tuning the low speed but could not get it to run long enough to tune from there

It will run for a second and then die. When I start it the next day it will run fine but then when it gets hot and I return the throttle back to idle it starts to die and eventually does die.
