Hi all, I'm completely new to this, but have a small landscaping business. I generally do all my own repairs on tools and have a stihl km55rc combi engine. I recently broke, I have isolated the problem to a spring like rod that is inside the combi engine shaft which has snapped in half. Does anyone know what this is called?
Many thanks

Are you talking about the driveshaft? Is it the top or bottom shaft?
Hi, many thanks for the reply. It is a bar/coil about 50 cm long that goes through the center of the shaft from the combi, it has a slight squareness to each end to allow it to insert into the clutch/drum sprocket?!
