I'm trying to level the cutter deck, but the adjustment bolt is walking on me.
I am unable to find a parts breakdown for this particular SN to know if there is some sort of small flat adapter piece that goes on the end of the round bolt to stop it from walking. Maybe it's normal, but I wanted to confirm.
Looking at it more closely, the orange frame has a slot in the lower hole part so the silver bracket pivots on the top bolt hole when the bolt is screwed into the deck. Maybe it's supposed to walk???
Does appear to an adjustment screw so you may use some thread lock and set the deck level before the thread lock sets up. And it might require replace the deck leveler.
Thank you! I couldn't find a diagram showing the bolt... The adjuster bolt is #75 in your pic and no 'foot' on the end of the bolt, so I guess it's supposed to walk a little... Thanks again!

If I understand what I am seeing the IPL clip the deck lever is adjusted and the two clamp carriage bolts are tighten up so the lever doesn't move. If that is the case then the adjustment screw should not be walking out.
The silver part (in my pic) only pivots around the top carriage clamp bolt. It goes through a round hole on the orange part in my pic above. The bottom carriage clamp bolt goes through the 'slotted hole'.
In your pic, notice the lower hole is slotted. So when the #75 bolt is screwed into the deck, it will start pivoting it's bracket as you tighten the bolt, thus throwing the bolt at a different angle and walking...
