B&S 19 HP, believe the model number is 33R800. It is 4 years old and installed in an Ariens lawn tractor. Starts fine. I can idle it down and it will run fine, standing still for 5 minutes. As soon as I throttle up to running RPM and take off it soon starts to sputter then eventually dies. Wait a minute, it starts fine and repeats the same sputter/die routine. Have changed the carb, fuel filter and it has fresh gas. Fuel flow from the tank is unrestricted. The spark puig and oil were changed last October. It sat for maybe 3 months DEC-FEB. When I started it in FEB it began the sputter/die routine. That is when I changed the carb etc. I read a thread here that it could be a heat related problem, the coil. Looking for advice before I start swapping out parts. Also, thanks for the "add". This is my first post.
Heat related items normally take longer than that. 15 minutes to 2 hours in some cases. Sounds more like a fuel restriction going into the carb. Carb bowl fills and then inflow is too slow to refill leading to fuel starvation. Do you have a full fuel line flow of gas if disconnected at the carb. Some of the newer emission fuel lines have an inner liner that will separate causing restrictions that will only show up with the engine is running in the case of engines with a fuel pump.
Fuel cap may be clogged. Run w/o cap to sees if it clears up.

Can even be a bad head gasket but a leak down test should be done to check for that. Just throw parts at the problem is no way to reasonably repair a problem and it can get expensive fast with no results other than you wallet having a nervous breakdown.
As possible heat problem it would not hurt to remove the engine shroud and check for a mouse bed either.
