I have procured a 2016 Dixie Chopper with 27hp Kawasaki than was close to a house fire. The main damage is to the wiring harness, fuel tanks, and tires. Now trying to see if it is worth fixing since it was a good running unit. My first order of business was to remove all of the wiring and melted plastic. Now I need to try to start the engine. For temporary wiring is all I need a battery, starter switch, fused hot to starter from switch, 12v to the carb solenoid, and a kill switch that goes to ground? Voltage regulator wiring looks OK. I have a temporary fuel tank and lines. Am I overlooking something?
