Have a Echo ST 2620 Extreme Have had it 3 or 4 years. Allways started right up and still does but once its warmed up will stall right out on restarts and have to prime the bulb and choke it to get it to restart. In the past would start right up on 1st pull. Cold start is fine just the restart once you shut it off. Runs fine once started only problem is the warm restart Any Ideas ?? Thanks Glenn

Please verify model number as I can't find anything under ST-2620 but do find several versions of the SRM-2620.

It probably relate the rubber parts in carburetor getting stiff.

Appears that the SRM2620 series uses the Walbro WYG-9 carburetor. Recommend a good ultrasonic cleaning (several passes in smaller ultrasonic machines) and installing a K1-WYG repair kit. As a first step in the repair. Also recommend replacing the primer bulb due age, PN 188-14-1.

Might check the fuel lines and pressure test the fuel tank. Most likely carb needs freshened up as StarTech said.

How do you store the machine for winter?
1.Run it completely dry?
2.Full of E-10 fuel and oil?
3.Full of 100% gas and oil plus stabilizer?
