My father didn't know anything about small engine repair and therefore I never learned anything. I keep looking for community education classes. I haven't found one. I am not looking to become a technician or make this a career. I just want to know how to maintain/troubleshoot my lawnmower, snowblower, and soon tractor.
Where are the good basic online training sites? Preferably free and not through a school where I have to stick to a rigid schedule. I work about 60 hours a week, cook dinner, do homework,.... So I don't have much time.
I don't know of any online courses, especially free one. There is just not much interest for people going into lawnmower repair. My local community college offers a basic small technician course, but you have to be a in prison to take the course. They also offer the John Deere technician course, but have to employed by a local dealer to take that course.
