Starting Issue

I recently replaced my in-line fuse that runs to the starter. I also replaced the starter. Everything was working fine, then the dash lights were out and nothing worked. I replaced the main 50 amp fuse and it started right up. I drove it on three separate occasions and had no problems. Then it wouldn't start and solenoid didn't click. I then replaced the 5 amp and 15 amp fuses related to the starter. It clicked, the TCM lit up for about a second, then the TCM went out and the solenoid clicked a few seconds later. I checked and the 15 amp fuse was blown. Now the dash lights come on, but I get no click from the solenoid. I checked the starter and thought I found the problem when I saw that I hadn't tightened the "positive" wire (I only call this positive because it has a red rubber cover on it) very well and it was leaning against the wire that connects to the solenoid. I tightened that wire to make sure it wouldn't move and put the red rubber cover on it better. That did nothing. I still get dash lights, but nothing when I turn the key to start. Battery is fully charged. Any help is greatly appreciated.

Sounds like you have an intermittent short in a component or wiring harness. This is going to take some patient electrical troubleshooting with both a VOM and test light. If you feel that you can do this, please provide us with the model and serial numbers and we will try to find you an electrical diagram.
