looks like this is asked a lot but im not getting many replies.friend gave me a murry with a briggs 17.5 ohv I/c engine.he took out the battery and ignition.when I took my jumper cables from the batt to the two terminals on the selonoid it tried to spin but didnnt.took out the plug and it spun.besides adjusting the valves is it possible I have a weak selinoid or starter?like I mentioned there is no battery or ignition.the guy said it was running a few years ago and you can spin it by hand with the plug in so I don't see why it shouldn't turn jumping the selinoid
