sst25ce not starting

I have a sst25ce im working on. the unit will not start, the customer says that fuel just goes straight through the carb. it is one of my first times working on a carb. there are no leaks and the air filter is clean. it looks to me when i prime it that fuel is going through all but one line, the line that holds the fuel filter. im curious as to what to do next, usually they replace the carb on a weedeater brand but if cleaning it would do the trick, i would try that.

this is on a weedeater trimmer by the way. i took the line going to the fuel filter off and it was getting gas. i also changed the spark plug because the old one was fouled out.

have you checked spark and compression

spark is good, compression is between 100-115. its not 5 months old yet
