Splitting a geared motor

I'm trying to disassemble an old electric motor off a Sears lawnmower Model C950-35100-2. I believe all the bolts holding the two halves of the motor/gear casing have been removed. There is still something preventing me from splitting the two halves. Below is a picture of the motor, sitting loosely on the mower chassis. I would appreciate any help.

No it's not Model I had. Mine was a Model C950-35100-2 which is much older than the 247370160. But I no longer have the mower; it was scrapped.
