Spindle pulley

I have a 2016 troy bilt pony model 13WM77KS011, can anyone tell me what the factory spindle pulley size was for this model with a 42 inch deck, the spindles have been changed by someone else and the belt. The blade belt will come off when I disengage. I looked up the belt size for that particular model, and the belt size is correct, I suspect the pulley size is wrong, too small, there is a lot of play in the belt. I’m really only interested in what the factory size spindle pulley was then I can determine whether the correct belt is on the mower. Thank you in advance for your help.

The 2016 used the 918-06991 spindle which uses the 5.4" 756-05031 pulleys.

Belt would be the 954-04060C 1/2 x 96.5. You have actually measure the belt OC if it is an aftermarket belt. Also all belt retainers must be in place including the spindle covers.

Now the idler pulleys are 4.5" versions and not the 4.25" used back in 2014 and earlier. And yes if the tech used the older idlers the belt would be too long. I just ran into this a month ago here where the previous installed the wrong idler pulleys and was using a 95.5 poly belt which of course did not hold up.

Current idler PN is 756-05034A. Currently I haven't found an aftermarket that has been cross to this pulley yet. But I think the Oregon 34-109 is a close cross.

This is not my issue, and this information does me absolutely no good at all. But... this type of info is why I'm here. StarTech answered the OP's question, and a couple of more that the OP SHOULD have asked. Great response. Thanks, StarTech (and others) for providing this type of info.

Yeah, my point was that a response from the OP would be helpful. Star Tech spent time and work providing answers, knowing if they worked or not could be very helpful.
