I was half-way through mowing my lawn and the mower stopped self-propelling. It's a Husq LC221RH with a Honda engine (real wheel drive)

When I squeeze the throttle it feels looser than usual but I don't know if that's just a red herring.

I removed the rear wheels and tried again the axle doesn't move and the belt looks like it's intact (I assume this is belt driven)

What should I be looking at first?

edit - the blade still spins when it's not propelling and I was able to finish the mow by manually pushing but the engine stalled a couple of times and I had to wait 5 minutes before it would restart.

edit2 - the belt was off the pulley Once I worked out how to re-install it, all was good again
