I have had my ZTE 60" for about 2.5 years. I am on my third solenoid. This last one I changed from a the standard three post to a four post. Anyone else experiencing the same issues?

Two things come to mind, but I wish I could see what you have. One, are you purchasing quality solenoids or cheap ones off fleabay? Elcheapos won’t take the current draw. Two, do you have good sized battery wires. When I see 6-8, I recommend that the customer replace with 4 gage.

Check on the amp rating of the one you are buying. Some are only rated for 80 amps. The after market ones I use here are rated for 200 amps so the contacts don't get burned as badly.

How did you switch to a 4 post solenoid? How did you wire it?

Also the main problem might just be that valves are needing adjusting if they are not hydraulic driven. Many engine uses ACR to reduce the load on the starters which when not adjusted creates a heavier load thus requires excessive current which burns up solenoid contacts.

Without complete model number there is no way of knowing which engine is involved.
